Already so much had happened that Sora couldn't explain.
He'd gone to Twilight Town, and then rushed home because there was something that bothered him. He was aware, dimly, that there were people he needed to find, and for an instant he confused them with Riku again. But Riku was safe on the islands--was that why he'd gone back? Now he couldn't remember, and suddenly so many actions in his past made no sense. Rushing around Twilight Town once in a panic, kneeling before Saïx of all people, chasing Riku for some reason that had nothing to do with Riku...
Somehow, between then and now, it had all slipped away. He couldn't remember at all.
The only thing he was sure about was, this wasn't the first time. The memories from Castle Oblivion were still broken and faded, and he couldn't remember why any of them came back to them in the first place, only he knew it had something to do with her. All of this was connected to her somehow, and Sora was no longer able to make sense of why in his head.
And it wasn't that he didn't think he could rely on Donald or Goofy, or even his Majesty himself, but he knew they had official business to take care of. Sora had his own quest to be working on, for that matter, but he didn't think he could be trusted with a mission like this one when his memories were so screwy. It made him frustrated with himself that something like this could take him down, since it seemed like whatever he was forgetting was so simple that he should just remember in a second. But whatever it was, it was so important to him that the absence made his life different in a way he couldn't stand.
So all the broken chains brought him straight back to the place where it all started. Sora stood at Castle Oblivion's doors with Keyblade in hand, determination in eye, and conviction in heart.
Digging in his pocket brought out the clink of fragile thalassa shells, twisted into a charm that smiled at him from a memory he could no longer understand. "Naminé," he murmured to it. Then he closed his fingers around it to protect it, lowering his hand and looking up to the castle that was the last place he knew to contain her. "I hope I can find my way back to you."

A castle like a faded memory rise before the girl, mysterious and gigantic with a structure that should be impossible to keep itself up whole, the girl frowned and her two cat tails waved behind her as she looked up at the building. A low whistle came from her lips, a place like this was bound to be a treasure hunters dream, abandoned and silent the castle leaved a promise to the girl of glimmering jewels and valuable material that would make her rich.
It had not be a walk in the park to find this place, even getting the information had been a real bother since everyone seemed like they had never heard of such a place. The first clue to the mysterious place had been a part of a conversation she had happened to catch which mentioned the place. When she had turned around to look for the people speaking she saw a man clad in a leather coat and nothing more. After that she had heard the echo of the castle’s name in her head, Castel Oblivion that was its name. Sanae was a treasure hunter and a thief with skills that made her one of the top ones, which she was very proud of, why would someone as greedy as her ignore the hollow calls of the Castle Oblivion? The road leading her to the building was small and dangerous always threatening to throw the girl of, like a horse wanting to destroy its rider as much as the enemy generals. Despite the danger and the fears, the girl continued her path, not looking back for it might make her want to leap back to safely. The story about the dangers the girl faced would surely fill a whole book but since that is not important the girl chooses to not look back and think about past since the time draws on without one and trying to fight against the destiny is impossible, life goes forever on and travelers past other travelers or in this case the meet at the crossroad or before a big door.
The boy had spiky, brown hair and a big key in his hand, standing with his back at the thief he looked down on something. Sanae grabbed after her weapon, moving silently as a cat in the dark but before she managed to draw the knife she got a better idea. Who know what lurked in the castle and she was after all, alone some company would not hurt nor would it stop her from killing the boy afterwards. She sneaked up beside the boy looking over his shoulder down on the item in his hand, a weird looking star or a charm of some sort, useless to her but perhaps valuable to the boy. “Is that supposed to be a star?”

It was a far off memory like a scattered dream.
The feel of the shells against his hand recalled it just slightly. It was something about the delicate curves against his fingers, familiar as an old, beloved toy. It felt smaller, of course--he'd had it for a while anyway--but not too much. Now that he thought of it, back home, there was an old legend...something about sailors, and safety...
Sora was so deep in thought that the voice from behind him prompted a response from someone far less battle-weary than himself; instead of whirling with the Keyblade raised like he would in virtually any other situation, he jumped with a loud "W--AAHH!" and fumbled. The charm nearly slid right out of his hands and Sora let go of the Keyblade to catch it, feeling his weapon land heavily near his foot and vanish again in a purl of light. Something about holding the star-shaped thing in both hands, having only just caught it, reminded him suddenly of home with a wave of nostalgia. It seemed like Riku had thrown him a paopu fruit once, just like this, and it'd gotten him all irritated for some reason that he couldn't remember now.
But Sora couldn't afford to focus on that for more than a second. Squeezing the charm in one hand, just tight enough to keep it safe, he whirled on the stranger in the next moment. "Hey, what's the big idea sneaking up on me like that?" He felt bad for it almost the moment he said it, but he couldn't help being annoyed. The fact that he couldn't remember anything about the charm coupled with the fact that he could have dropped and broken it didn't do anything to help his anxiety.
But then the next part of her question sunk in. "Huh?" Only Sora got distracted by the strangeness of her, as he did now and again meeting people throughout the worlds. She reminded him slightly of Donald and Goofy, since he couldn't figure out if she was supposed to be a cat or a person, but he'd seen (and befriended) stranger stuff. Something about her eyes made him a little bit leery; he wasn't sure if it was how catlike they were or just their color, but Sora's policy was always to trust first and ask questions after. He at least didn't get the kind of vibe from her that he got from people like the Organization and Xehanort's Heartless, but her boldness also made him slightly tongue-tied.
"Oh," he said after a second to take in just who he was dealing with, and looked to the charm. "I guess. It's my..."
In that far off memory, he thought he heard a voice. It made his eyebrows draw together in confusion briefly, but Sora shook it off.
"It's my lucky charm," he said, because the words made him smile for a reason he couldn't put his finger on.
Remembering himself and his situation, he slipped it back into the red pouch at his side without having to look. Instead, blue eyes stayed on Sanae. "So...well...what're you all the way out here for?" He didn't really want to go into just how suspicious that was right now, because not everyone from Castle Oblivion had been an enemy.

The boy was apparently not very sharp, not having notice her presence before she spoke to him. With a loud scream the boy made some sort of a spin and ended up losing his charm, in a desperate try to grab the charm the boy dropped his funny weapon and it disappeared as soon as it touched the ground. Curious the girl walked past the boy and bent down, feeling the ground where the key had fallen; there was no sign of it or something to touch.
Startled the child screamed at her, something about sneaking. Sanae turned to him smiling excusing: “I’m sorry, pal, it wasn’t my meaning to scare you, but I was certain you had heard me.”
She thief noticed that the boy looked at her ears that almost melted into her hair since they were the same color. She smiled and turned around, showing the boy her twin tails, these two twins in a darker color then the ears. The girl liked keeping the tails hidden since they caught quite a lot looks and whispers around her.
If a heart could shine, this boy’s would be too bright to look at. Even from such a far way the girl could feel his gentleness and his kind, but naïve personality. The young woman’s heart was since long stained by darkness and hard feelings that make her every move remind of a shadow. With steps without a sound and weak yet strong movements that did not moved without a goal or reason. But the girl was able to control her moves, right now her moves was like anyone’s else without any real reason and her steps echoed on the ground. Her tails wiggled as she walked and her ears twitched like she was listening after something.
Sanae walked up to the boy and looked at the charm in his hand with an interested look in her eyes, it seemed completely unimportant and in fact ugly but since it was important to the boy she nodded at it to give it her approval. “Who made it?” she asked, “Did you?”
At his other question she stepped back and her ears hang down in sadness, her tails wagging silently. “My family is very poor and I became a treasure hunter to feed them, I heard about a castle that was abandoned, filled with treasures. I don’t like the thought of taking from anyone else but if it was abandoned I thought perhaps it was alright to take some. My family really needs it.” She looked up at the castle and sighted. “I know it’s not very nice but I don’t want my family to die starving. But never mind my story I was wondering about that key of yours… is it a key to this castle? Where did it go?” she looked around, searching for the missing key. “Oh and how rude of me! I haven’t told you my name! It’s Lidia, pleased to meet you.” She smiled.
