"You will be my wings".
It had started out as just a ordinary day for the pink haired girl , she got up and had breakfast then went out for the day. But something was different when she was coming back from a run out on the Gran Pulse plains with a chocobo she had caught and trained. Pulling back on the reigns of the bird she dismounted and looked around, this didn't look like the way back to New Bodhum. She couldn't even see the giant crystal hanging in the distance, could it be possible that she somehow got lost. Looking around she tried to get any bearings of where she might be. The chocobo began to get a little restless by making a few noises and flapping it's wings. "Hey take it easy...just calm down". Serah pulled on the reigns and looked around again, no this wasn't Gran Pulse...so where was she and how did she even get here. Retracing her steps from the morning she just couldn't figure out where she took a wrong turn, then she remembered there was a jolt of something that felt very weird and strange to her. Mounting the chocobo once more she headed off again and soon came upon what looked like a village. Now isn't this where her home was suppose to be except for the fact that the beach wasn't anywhere to be seen. Dismounting off the bird once more she patted it lightly and led it into the village she had come across, and as she got further in she also noticed it was empty. Glancing up Serah could see two big torches near the entrance which are probably used to light the way into here at night. As she continued to lead the chocobo inside her eyes glanced around, there was no one here. This village was deserted but why. Tying the bird up nearby she decided to explore abit and see if there was at least someone here who could direct her in the right direction or tell her where she was. "Hello....is anyone here? No of course not, it was silly of her to be yelling out to an empty village right.[/blockquote]

No day was a normal day as far as Luneth was concerned. This day wasn't any different. He was supposed to meet with Arc and the others back at their home, but he figured he could explore. One detour later, and he found himself in these grand plains. Grand indeed! Luneth wandered the area, holding his sword, sheathed safely of course, in his hand. He couldn't believe that he had never found this area before, it was pretty amazing! Then again from what he knew it was pretty easy to get lost nowadays anyway. For a moment, he hesitated, if he got lost it probably wouldn't be good. From what he could see, as he walked, the area had no civilization whatsoever. "Ooh, I spoke too soon..." Luneth thought out loud, grinning as he saw, in the distance, what looked like a village. He started walking towards the village, but soon his walk turned into a jog and the jog turned into a sprint. As he got closer and closer, more of the village came into view. It looked abandoned, maybe everyone was inside. He could see that there were many buildings, but he didn't see a single hint of a living being, intelligent beings of course, not flies. As he finally reached what looked to be the entrance of the village, Luneth stopped in his tracks, panting as he tried to catch his breath. After more or less recovering, he started walking into the village. It was definitely] abandoned from what he could see. Not a single soul in sight. Most of the houses he saw had their doors wide open. Luneth curiously poked his head into one of them and sighed when it seemed pretty much empty save for cobwebs and dust. But abandoned villages always had some kind of catch. There must be a kind of treasure somewhere, if he looked hard enough. "Ahah... Now this seems suspicious..." Luneth thought to himself as he stopped near another house. Unlike the other houses he had seen thus far, this one had a big lock on it's door. Lock equals potential treasure. Grinning, Luneth crouched down and placed his sword on the ground. He held his pouch that was hanging from his waist in his right hand while his other hand searched for his lock-picking set. "Ah, here we go..." Luneth took the small set out and placed his bag down. Examining the lock, he picked out some of his lock-picks and started trying to unlock the lock. -tinktink- "Ahh, I think I almost got it..." Luneth thought to himself, the sound that emanated from the lock encouraging him. He continued to tamper with the lock, but before he could finish, he heard a voice yelling out, asking if anyone was here. "Ggah!" Luneth accidentally dropped his lock-picks, the small tools clattering to the ground. Luneth hurriedly gathered them up and stuffed them in his pouch, before cautiously looking over the fence that was around the house he was trying to lock-pick through. "Uhh... No one?" He could have slapped himself right there, what kind of a response was that? His eyes continued scanning the area, before he saw, almost out of view, a hint of pink. Pink that was definitely not there when he arrived. Picking up his sword, he walked, cautiously with a hand on the hilt, to see who this other person was. She was female, judging by the voice. Turning around another corner, Luneth found himself looking at a girl, a pink-haired girl. Who was taller than him and probably older. Luneth released the grip of his hand from his hilt. "Hello?" He asked, shaking his head a moment, before he continued, "Uhh, yeah, someone is here."

"You will be my wings".
When Serah first laid eyes on the village she thought that it really was her home, the only thing that threw her off was the fact she couldn't hear the ocean. And another thing was that there were no people traveling and leaving New Bodhum either, so that meant this was not her home at all but a whole different place all together. Entering the village she already got the sense it was abandoned. Dismounting off the chocobo and tying the reigns to a nearby post which looked like a place where the people here probably tied animals to it she ventured forth and looked around with a wary eye. Serah could see thing blowing in a small breeze that blew by now and then, along with broken items scattered here and there. Whomever lived here and left must have been in quite a hurry to leave, but why? This was not her world but she felt a great sadness coming from this place as she continued to look around, another thing she had noticed upon entering this place was the torches near the entrance. Did those serve as a light source at night time, it would make sense of course to assume that. Knowing it was a lost cause but why not give it a shot, Serah called out to see if anyone would answer her back. Suddenly she heard something being dropped, it sounded heavy and quickly looked around but couldn't see anyone. The chocobo started to panic as she quickly ran over to calm it down. That's all she needed was for her ride to suddenly break free and run off without her. Hearing a voice, new hope filled within her. So there was someone else here oh thank goodness that she wasn't going mad. "If it's no one then you must be a ghost....". Of course she was just teasing, but whoever was speaking was maybe someone who lived in this village and stayed here to protect it or something. Continuing to pet the giant bird and still looking around, Serah finally saw someone emerge from behind a corner. Upon getting a glance at the person she could see he was a probably a young person, silvery white hair and a blade. But she was sure that it wasn't the cause of that loud noise she had heard before. Serah gave a small smile to the person as he spoke once more. "Hey there, i'm glad to see someone is actually here. I was starting to think this place was really deserted. Unless of course your not from here".[/blockquote]

Luneth almost cringed when he had heard the female voice reply to his 'no one is here' comment. In fact he almost tripped when he heard it. Haha, ghosts... It's not that he is afraid of the other individual, it's just that he wasn't really expecting a reply, but then again why wouldn't he with such a silly comment? The voice did sound teasing though, of course. At least it didn't sound like it was annoyed. Though all things considering, he bet this place could be a good ghost town at night. Then again everything that is abandoned makes good scary areas at night. Sometimes even during the day.
As he saw the female, he stared briefly at the Chocobo she was patting, but of course he couldn't help it. It's a giant yellow bird after all, and he actually hadn't seen one in a while. He turned his gaze back to the girl as she spoke. She was glad this place isn't deserted? Did she come here with intentions of going to a lively village or was she lost, of all things? Luneth smiled back with a friendly grin, "Ahh, no. I'm not from here," He started, shifting to a more comfortable stance as he now, hopefully, knows that this person would not harm him. She seems friendly enough, anyway. He used his sword as support, basically just leaning on the hilt of the sheathed blade. "I only just stumbled across here and while... uh... peeking into some of the houses, I saw that they were all basically empty, covered in dust and cobwebs." He motioned towards one of the small buildings, the door of the house ajar. "So my guess is as good as yours about this village... Well at least if your guess is also that it is abandoned." He shrugged his arms casually, as if he was used to these kinds of things. He was, mind you.
"Anyway, what are you doing here, if I may ask?" Luneth cocked his head slightly, "I'm just exploring, abandoned areas are great for finding items sometimes. Unless there's a horde of monsters residing in said abandoned areas. I didn't see any monsters here so far, though, luckily enough." He sighed momentarily, before continuing, "But... From what I suspect, you aren't really here for the same reason, right?" A small piece of paper flew past Luneth's feet as the wind blew and Luneth had to keep on moving his fringe out of his face, annoyingly enough. "Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Luneth, it's nice to meet you." He said with a grin, "What's your name?"

"You will be my wings".
Serah was never afraid of anything, she was the kind of girl who could stand up to mostly everything. She only ever got afraid if she was threatened or if someone she cared for deeply was being hurt. So upon entering this village and actually hearing someone but not seeing them she just thought for fun to call them a ghost. But what had that loud bang been before the voice had answered her. Unless......unless there was a real ghost in this village, that would be exciting and interesting. Alas the source of the voice decided to show themselves as she glanced over to see a person emerge from the side behind a building. Well at least they weren't a ghost. He actually seemed like a young boy, no wait maybe older it was hard to tell from such a distance away. But when he got a little closer it became a little clearer. He sure didn't look like someone she knew from home, so that only left her to believe he was either from here or from another world like her. Speaking of which she couldn't quite remember her home that well, all she did recall was just leaving New Bodhum and her friends and family. That was about it. As soon as she calmed the chocobo down, Serah gave a smile to the new person and asked if he was from this village. And again her thoughts were correct he was from somewhere else and not from here. She noticed him leaning on the hilt of his blade, her eyes widened a little from how big it looked before looking back to the boy. "So where are you from then, if your not from this village...or world?" Serah listened as he explained about how he was just peeking into the homes around this village, peeking indeed. He was trying to steal from these homes wasn't he, and that loud noise must have been thieving tools. "I suppose I can't blame you for peeking into these homes, this place is pretty abandoned as is. I didn't pass anyone while heading here. You said cobwebs and dust, that must mean this village has been deserted for quite awhile". Usually if there were cobwebs and dust, that meant this area has been pretty much deserted for months or even years. She glanced over to the building he was motioning to and saw the door ajar. But if the people left a long time ago how come they left the torches at the entrance of the village. Serah glanced back to the boy when he asked what she was doing here. "I was just heading home, of course I can't find my home now. Exploring abandoned areas for items, well since no one is here and no one has returned for items they left behind I guess it's okay to take them. Did you find anything of interest?"Maybe she would take a gander around and see if there was anything that interested her here. Wait did he just mention monsters. From what she has seen there hasn't been any monsters as of yet, and felt relieved when he said he hasn't seen any. Serah could hold her own against monsters no worry about that. And finally an introduction from this person, it was about time. "My name is Serah Farron, very nice to meet you Luneth. So where do you come from? Oh and did you notice those torches by the front entrance?"[/blockquote]

Sanae was sitting on a roof, her hair wagging in the weak wing and her brown eyes followed the white haired boy’s movements. He had stopped in front of the house with the big lock. She was a professional thief and had of course already tried to open the lock but it was a protected by a weird magic. The feline-like girl was unable to open it. But if this one did the job for her she would attack him and get the treasure for herself. Unfortunately the boy was surprised by a call from a female voice. He dropped his tools and called out that no one was there. What kind of thief was this guy?
As the thief walked to meet the female Sanae followed silently. It was not her business but she had nothing better to do. The lock had kept her occupied for many hours and she had already looked through the other houses to find nothing but dust and small treasures without any real value. Her hidden pockets were filled with gil, stolen from the abandoned houses but it was not enough. It was never enough.
The female and the boy meet. The girl had beautiful pink hair and very nice eyes. One big chocobo was standing besides her looking nervous and restless. The big bird was tugging it reins as the humans spoke. Sanae looked curiously at the chocobo. It sensed something and the pink haired girl was a fool for not listening to the animal’s instincts. The wind was blowing with more force now and the windows rattled in their frames. Sanae stood up, looking out over the plains. Then she suddenly felt a presence behind her and turned around. Nothing. She could feel panic building up in her heart. There was something here, and it was moving. She had feel it coming closer for every hour that passed since she arrived, but it had never showed itself. Now when the day started to become night, she could feel it stronger than ever. She realized what the torches were for. Sanae jumped down from the roof and landed without a sound on the ground. “Hey you there!” she called and rose from the ground, “Does anyone of you know fire?” without waiting for an answer she pointed at the torches “Light them! Hurry up, they are coming.”
