Personality: Namine has a generally fragile and quiet personality. She'll speak up when its necessary, but in everyday life, she prefers to stay in the background, so to speak. She isn't very outgoing and has a bit of difficulty making friends with new people and getting to know them. She's unsure on how people think and react, and can be considered somewhat socially awkward. However, when in the presence of people she knows and trusts, she displays a more open personality. This being, she laughs more openly, and participates in conversation a bit more.
When someone needs help or help is needed in general, Namine will always rush in to assist the best she can. A more determined side of her comes out, and she'll do anything in her power to help. She strongly defends what's right, and does her best to carry out her morals. Namine still feels rather guilty over her actions in the past, and feels that she's on her way to making it up to everyone, not just Sora, for the pain she'd caused when following Marluxia's orders. While she has some trouble speaking up for herself, Namine has no trouble defending others. She's the type of person who would rush to the defense of almost anyone, and stick by them.
While it is fairly difficult to get on Namine's bad side, certain factors are blunt and unforgivable by her standards. For instance, villains and killers are the worst. Namine will automatically dislike you if you hurt anyone, especially those whom she's friends with. It reminds her of Marluxia and the Organization, who she's developed quite a dislike for.
History: Namine was born the Nobody of Kairi. However, her birth was unique and special. While she was made form Kairi's heart, she was made from Sora's body and soul. This happened when Sora stabbed himself with a keyblade to free Kairi's heart, which was inside him. Afterwards, unbeknownst to Sora and company, Namine was found by Organization XIII. They put her to use in Castle Oblivion, under the watch of Marluxia. However, he was planning to overthrow the Organization, along with Larxee and Axel. So, the three used Namine to manipulate Sora's memories and draw him to the castle. Having no memories, she didn't have anything to base her actions on, and simply followed whatever they said.
This included replacing Kairi with herself and having many of the people Sora knew and met on his journey forget about him. However, over time, Namine saw how her captor's orders were hurting people, and thus her guilt grew. It grew to such an extent that she started to rebel against Marluxia and Larxene. She constantly did her best to help Sora, going as far as shattering Riku Replica's heart to save him, and throwing herself between him and Larxene.
Eventually, once Sora defeated Marluxia, Namine offered to restore his original memories at the cost of his current ones, meaning he'd forget all about her. Donald and Goofy would too. When they all agreed, they were put in pods and stayed there for a year, asleep, while she restored their memories.
In this time, Namine helps Riku in conquering the darkness in his heart. As he confronts Zexion, she encourages him in the form of Kairi, allowing him to successfully strike the Organization member. They meet up again on the urge of DiZ, and Namine offers to seal away the darkness in Riku's heart completely, even though he'd have to sleep like Sora. He refused and she saw it as the right choice, since he chose to fight it himself. DiZ then convinces Namine to move Sora, Donald, and Goofy to his laboratory in Twilight Town due to the castle still being under Organization XIII's control.
As she, with the help of Riku and DiZ, try to restore Sora's memories, it was taking longer than they expected. Namine discovered that some of Sora's memories that had "leaked" out got feelings and became an individual being, due to one of Xemnas's experiments. This being was known as Xion, and Namine informed DiZ of the fact that her existence may halt Sora's awakening. She also tells Xion of her status as a replica of Roxas, and what it means to both him and Sora.
After Xion is gone, one with Roxas (or something like that...), Namine goes back to restoring Sora's memories. However, she still has trouble since he was incomplete without Roxas, his Nobody. Roxas is placed in a digital Twilight Town then, until he was needed to complete Sora. During this time, Namine seeks to shed light on his situation, to explain his position and help him due to their similar situations. However, she was stopped by Riku and doesn't pursue the topic anymore until the next day. Then, she informs Roxas of his status as a Nobody, and various other pieces of information, finally revealing he wasn't supposed to exist. She stopped after this, and didn't see him again until his final day. Then, she attempts to tell him he wouldn't disappear when he fused with Sora, that he'd become whole. But DiZ stops her and along with Riku, they disappear into a Corridor of Darkness.
With Sora's memories now restored, DiZ ordered Riku to dispose of Namine since she was of no use. However, he simply put her in the care of Axel, since he was angry and bitter at DiZ. In this time, a while after, Namine broke into the Organization's headquarters. She rescued Kairi and Pluto, and proposes to find Sora. However, she is fused with Kairi due to being so close.
Once Xemnas is defeated, Namine is the one who opened the corridor of darkness to the way back to Destiny Island. Recently, Namine has unfused from Kairi as her own individual.

RP Sample: Destiny Islands, it was where Sora, Kairi, and Riku lived and grew up. It was a peaceful place, and Namine really enjoyed it. She wasn't a permanent resident, but she visited quite frequently, or at least more often than some places. When she did come, she often either looked for Sora, or simply took a walk. Long ones down the coast were always the best, the sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the shore was comforting and added to the whole atmosphere. In a good way, of course. The most ideal setting would be later on in the day, when the sun was setting. But unfortunately, it was just about the middle of the day, when the sun was high in the sky. A long ways away from the crimson sky that accompanied the passing of the sun.
Currently, the blonde was taking a simple walk. She hadn't spotted Sora anywhere, so she figured he might just be in another world. True, if she had met up with him he probably wouldn't recognize her, at least not like he would have if she hadn't altered his memories in the first place, but it would still be nice to see him again. Her attention drawing to the ground, she focused more on what was in the sand than where she was putting her feet. While on a beach, there had to be shells, and she could collect some to put to use in he future. You never knew who might want one, and it might make someone really happy! That thought alone set a smile on her face, as she paused when she spotted something.
Namine crouched down, and inspected the small bit of pink that stuck up from under the sand. She was sure it was a shell, and while she hoped it was intact, it could also be broken. Either way, broken or not, the color was pretty, so she'd take it anyways. Pulling the shell out into the open, it was indeed broken. It had been a nice scallop shell, however it was more or less in half. A chuck of it was missing, setting a diagonal, rugged edge in place of the natural smooth one. Even if it might not be to someone's liking, she liked it, the girl could always keep it for herself.
Standing back up, she kept the shell inside her right hand, making a fist so she wouldn't drop it. Her walk continued, and she managed to find a few more vibrantly colored shells, varying in size and shape, some broken and some whole. There wasn't more than she could hold in her hand, but it was a decent amount, to say the least. Being out in the open, the sun's rays hitting her directly, although she did have light hair and light clothes on, Namine was starting to get hot. Beats of sweat were forming on her forehead, so she decided to look for some shade.
The coast went on for awhile, as she soon found out, by eventually, she heard the sound of crashing water. She assumed it was a waterfall, by the mere characteristics of the sound. "If there's a waterfall, then there has to be some kind of river. So I can cool off there," she thought. Namine was already imagining the feel of water being splashed onto her face. While the ocean was right there next to her, the water was salty, and she didn't think salty water would make her feel very good after it evaporated in all. At least water from a waterfall would be less salty, right?
